Executive Cup College Showcase Program FAQ's

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE EXECUTIVE CUP COLLEGE SHOWCASE PROGRAM?
  • To identify college prospect players early
  • To provide guidance on the the college recruiting process
  • To development opportunity for these potential college players

  • To this day, these two core purposes, namely, IDENTIFY and EDUCATE to become a college prospect.
WHO CAN TRYOUT FOR THE EXECUTIVE CUP?
  • Boys & Girls high school aged soccer recruits (Graduation Years: 2023, 2024, & 2025).
WHAT IF WE CANNOT ATTEND A TRYOUT?
  • If a player can’t make a tryout date, we need to be notified. Players have to register before the first tryout and then send an email to AGS Staff letting us know in advance. We want to give all players a fair opportunity
IF SELECTED, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE EXECUTIVE CUP??
  • Player Consultation - AGS staff will connect with each player to discuss their recruiting process and answer any questions college related questions.
  • Proactive Guidance - Provide guidance on the tasks that need to be done before, during and after the program to help the player connect with college coaches.
  • Access to AGS Platform - Each selected player will have access to the AGS Recruiting Platform that allows players to take complete control of the recruiting process with online profiles, college search, coach contact info, email, and more — all in one place.
  • Video Footage - Each player will receive showcase game footage for recruiting purposes and to share with college coaches
WHO ARE THE COACHES SELECTED TO EVALUATE/COACH EACH TEAM?
  • The coaching staff is consisted of experienced coaches that have played at the college or professional level
  • The coaches will work with the selected participants to improve their development as well as provide guidance regarding the college recruitment process
HOW DO I REGISTER TO TRYOUT AND IS THERE A DEADLINE?
  • Players must pre-register in order to attend a tryout. We have a cap number of participants for each location and want to make sure we give each player an opportunity to showcase themselves in front of the evaluators. Registration is on a "First to Register" basis.

WHERE DO I COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER/RELEASE FORMS?
  • The waiver liability/release will be part of the checkout process. Those that need to register on at the field, you'll be provided a physical form on site.
DO I HAVE TO PAY $35 FOR EVERY TRYOUT?
  • No, the $35 fee is a one-time payout that includes the numbered tryout shirt and covers the full tryout stage.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY TRYOUT?
  • We ask players to attend both the Stage 1 & Stage 2 (if player is invited) tryouts for us to best evaluate players ability. If there's a prior commitment that prevents the player from attending any of these tryout sessions, please email the AGS Staff
WHAT COLLEGE COACHES WILL BE ATTENDING?
  • We share all information on the Tryout Stage, League Matches and College Showcase Event to our full database of Men's & Women's colleges coaches. We are in constant contact with college coaches and typically have coaches from the Tri State Area attend. For college coaches that can not attend, we have every match recorded, posted, and shared through our the andGO Sports YouTube Channel. Coaches can watch at their own convenience.
WHAT DOES THE PLAYER NEED TO BRING TO TRYOUTS?
  • Molded cleats or Turf Shoes
  • Ball
  • Shin Guards
  • Weather appropriate athletic attire
  • Water or Sports Drink of preference
HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS WILL BE SELECTED?
  • The number of participants will be determined after tryouts depending on the quantity and quality of players in attendance.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES IF SELECTED FOR THE PROGRAM?
  • Yes, if a player is selected for the program there's a Participation Fee (By Invite Only) of $210. This fee covers the full duration of the League & Playoff Stage which includes Recorded Matches, Access to AGS Recruiting Platform, College Recruiting Handbook, Team Color Numbered Jersey, and much more!


College ID Combine FAQ's

WHAT IS THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE AGS ID COMBINE?
    Our mission is simply to give High School student-athlete soccer players an inside look into college soccer, and allow them to work with and be seen by coaches from some of the top schools in the area.
HOW ARE THE COACHES SELECTED TO WORK/ATTEND COMBINE?
    We have participating coaches that work directly with the players. Also, we invite coaches attend from different divisions and conferences to provide additional exposure.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN COMBINE?
All current Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior & Senior High School boys grades 9-12 that have aspirations on playing at the collegiate level.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration will be handled online. You have the option of paying by credit card online or sending a check via mail.

IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
Registration will be taken on a first come first serve basis. We are expecting a sell out so don't wait too long to register.

WHAT AIRPORT CAN I FLY TO?
AGS will provide shuttle service to (flights must be scheduled a day before combine) and from (flights must be scheduled the day of combine) at either:

  1. New York, NY, United States (LGA-LaGuardia)
  2. OR
  3. New York, NY, United States (JFK-John F. Kennedy Intl.)
**For an additional fee of $40.00 per camper. Each airport is located about 30 minutes from Combine site.**
Other options: (You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from airport) Newark (EWR) airport - 2 hour drive from Hicksville.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN?
Check in will be available 30 minutes to start time on field location site. Each player will have the opportunity to check-in and warmup on their own prior to start time.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING TO COMBINE?
  • Molded cleats or turf shoes
  • Shin guards
  • Weather appropriate athletic attire
WILL THERE BE PLAYER EVALUATIONS?
Yes, the participants grouped coach will complete an evaluation. Evaluations will be provided 2-4 weeks post combine date in webpage format.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Yes, we will have a truck where participants/spectators can purchase snacks and drinks.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Your registration fee is non-refundable. If session is cancelled due to weather, we will credit the registration amount towards future events.
WILL THERE BE GOALKEEPER TRAINING?
  • Goalkeepers will have a team that they will compete with during the combine.
  • Goalkeepers will train with the GK staff for the 1st half of the training sessions and then be integrated back with the team for the rest of the session.
  • We will also have ancillary sessions for Goalkeepers with our staff and give all staff members the opportunity to watch them train.
WHAT LIABILITY WAIVER/RELEASE FORMS WILL I NEED TO SUBMIT FOR CAMP?
All medical forms will be done online during registration. and andGO Sports is fully insured, however each camper will have to sign the waiver and release of liability form. andGO Sports employees and coaching staff will not be held liable for any injuries that occur at combine.
HOW DO WE HANDLE INJURIES?
There will be a certified trainer available before, during and after all training sessions to evaluate injuries.
IS THERE A TEAM DISCOUNT RATE?
Yes, there is a team discount if 10 or more players from the same team sign up for camp.

Cosmopolitan Winter Boys College Showcase FAQ's

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE COSMOPOLITAN WINTER BOYS COLLEGE SHOWCASE?
  • To identify college prospect players early
  • To provide guidance on the the college recruiting process
  • To development opportunity for these potential college players

WHO CAN TRYOUT FOR THE COSMOPOLITAN SHOWCASE?
  • Male high school aged soccer recruits (Grad years 2020, 2021, & 2022).
WHAT IF WE CANNOT ATTEND A TRYOUT?
  • If a player can’t make a tryout date, we need to be notified. Players have to register before the first tryout and then send an email to the Program Director stating that they have a prior obligation. Our team will get back to the player. We want to give all players a fair opportunity
IF SELECTED, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE COSMOPOLITAN SHOWCASE?
  • Player Consultation - AGS staff will make themselves available to meet with player & their family to discuss the college recruiting process

IF I PREFER A DIFFERENT METHOD OF PAYMENT (Check, Money Order or Cash) WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PROVIDE THAT?
  • The $30 payment can be provided before the first tryout during check-in (please arrive a couple of minutes early). Checks would be payable to: Sports for the Community.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY TRYOUT?
  • Yes, participants need to attend first open tryout and if selected those that follow. If there's a prior commitment that prevent you from attending any of these tryout sessions, please email the Program Director
WHAT COLLEGE COACHES WILL BE ATTENDING?
  • We provide college coaches all the information regarding the tryout, practice and event day details. What is unique about the Cosmopolitan Showcase we have event professionally filmed and given to individuals for their recruitment uses. Also the film is sent out to our database of college coaches across the country so they are able to watch and be involved without actually attending the event day.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES AFTER THE TRYOUT PROCESS?
  • The Cosmopolitan Winter Boys College Showcase is a sponsorship-based, community driven program. Sponsorship is required for the program to exist, which comes from donations from businesses/organizations. Once teams are selected there are no real additional fees for participants, but players are asked to find a sponsorship to cover a cost of $100. We ask for players to find sponsorships to involve the community while keeping costs low for families!


College Bus Tour FAQs

WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE COLLEGE BUS TOUR?
The bus tour exposes players to a variety of colleges/universities, while getting visibility in front of collegiate coaches. It will provide an opportunity to explore different college campuses and give prospective college soccer players the experience of the recruiting process.
WHO IS INVITED TO JOIN THE COLLEGE TOUR?
High School aged recruits (current Juniors and Sophomores)
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration will be handled online.

WHAT DOES THE OVERALL COST INCLUDE?
Two nights in a hotel (two players per room), transportation to and from all five schools, practice facilities, three experienced chaperones, breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, and a jersey.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
Registration will close when all spots have been filled Please note that discounted prices will be given for early registration:

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
There is no refund, however the payment can be granted to another AGS Program.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD MISBEHAVES DURING THE TRIP?
The child’s family is fully responsible for any transpiration required in order for the child to get home (taxi, flight, uber). No refund will be given for a child that misbehaves and misses part of the trip.
