andGO Sports Announces 5th Annual Executive Cup - College Showcase Tryouts

andGOSports 5th Annual Executive Cup 2015
The 5th annual Nassau County Executive Cup – College Showcase will be hosting open tryouts on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Cantiague Park Turf Field (Hicksville, NY). The Executive Cup provides high school aged male and female soccer players an opportunity to present their talents in front of college coaches. The program started in 2011 with only two boy’s teams participating against each other and has now grown to multiple boy and girls teams competing. To participate you must go through a three-stage tryout process. The first stage consists of an open tryout; following that there will be two more tryout phases where participants must be invited back by the NCEC evaluating staff. The NCEC staff consists of current and former collegiate athletes, as well as established club team head coaches and former professional soccer players. Once selected, team rosters and practices begin. Players become familiar with each other and the coaching staff. Prior to the event day andGO Sports hosts a pre-launch event where teams are announced, players are recognized and details of the day are covered. The pre-launch event also includes recruitment insight from college soccer coaches as well as college admission members. Additionally, andGO Sports offers each individual pre-showcase guidance by compiling a list of index schools in which we encourage each participant to take advantage of while reaching out to college coaches to come out to the event. Varsity Media covers all event day filming which is eventually provided to the participants and college coaches throughout the Northeast. Assistant coach of the Molloy College Women’s Soccer Team David Price says “The facilities are very good, and its run very well. It’s run by high quality people. This is for me, a very good platform to showcase your skills”. Steve¬†Price and Molloy is just one of the many colleges and coaches that attends the Executive Cup to find a possible recruit for his future roster. While the Executive Cup boasts a great amount of success stories ranging from all levels both athletically and academically, andGO Sports looks forward to hosting another successful event.
