Widely recognized as a multi sports expert / talent, Ricardo Ortiz can and has worn many hats in the sports announcing arena. His play by play of major international soccer matches for PSN was his starting point. Yet Ortiz has also graced the announcers chair at ESPN and TNT broadcasting live for some of the most recognized match-ups in sport annals such as: NBA playoffs, all star games, plus a number of tier 1 tennis tournaments (Grand Slams, Super Nines, and Davis Cups).

Outside of his announcing repertoire, Ortiz has also headlined at several of the top Sports Networks hosting highly rated shows such as “Lo Mejor del Calcio” (ESPN) and “Sports Center” (TNT).

Currently works for SPEED Channel Latin America and HBO in New York City, also is a commentator for the New York Knicks Basketball team in Spanish for MSG and Radio Wado.

Even so, his first love, soccer, is where his true passion resides. Bringing the excitement of major international play from the top leagues around the world has become his calling card. 

As a key player for the GolTV team since 2005, Ortiz does just that, bring fans face to face with the thrill of some of the best play from Latin America and Europe as well as impart his very special brand of insight and commentary via some of the Networks most popular shows such as 45/45 and Ole la Liga.
