Billy Gatti

Billy Gatti was born in Oceanside, NY and raised in Pigue, Argentina. At the age of 19 years old he moved back to US to continue his education and soccer career, after a stint with Argentina powerhouse Racing Club U20 and reserve team.
He landed in Stone Ridge, NY in 1995 where he spent one year at Ulster County Community College before transferring to Southern Connecticut State University. Billy graduated from SCSU with a degree in Computer Science and was a valuable part of the soccer program that won the 1998 National Championship, earning All-American honors that year. He then continued his professional career playing for A-League teams such as the Connecticut Wolves and Long Island Rough Riders, winning a National Championship in 2002 with the Rough Riders. He also played internationally in Venezuela First Division for Estudiantes de Merida.
While playing, Billy got involved with youth and university level coaching. At the university level, he was the goalkeeper coach at Fairfield University, Sacred Heart University, and University of Bridgeport. In 2002, he became the assistant Head Coach at Long Island University - CW Post Campus and in 2007 moved to Molloy College. At the youth level, he worked with GK One goalkeeper camps and clinics, Connecticut ODP, Paul Riley Soccer School and Albertson Soccer Club.
Billy has been involved with sports traveling since 2002 and has helped setting up many national and international tours since then.
